On this tour, you will be exposed to two of the most notable local Malaysian crafts, batik and pewter, where you will learn how they are made and appreciate the intricate techniques and historical importance such crafts hold for the local community. The excursion starts with Jadi Batik and Central Market, where you will get to witness the intricate art of batik-making by skilled artisans and have the chance of batik printing yourself. Central Market is known for selling an array of local Malaysian crafts and there is various batik fabric designs and products made from such fabric that you will get to see.

Next, you will head to the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, where an interactive experience with one of the world's oldest pewter manufacturers awaits. This tour offers insights into the history, artistry and process of crafting exquisite pewter items, with opportunity to try your hand at pewter casting.

The excursion will end with lunch at a “peranakan” restaurant, featuring authentic local cuisine which uniquely blends Malay and Chinese flavours, in a cozy and charming setting.

T02 - Cooking Class

Join a dedicated team passionate about their craft and eager to share cherished Malaysian family recipes, perfected over generations for a fun cooking adventure. Start the day with a light breakfast at a local market and visit the various stalls selling fresh local produce and learn of the ingredients that make up some of the famous Malaysian dishes. You will then depart for the cooking school where you will have the chance to learn and partake in the preparation of 3 delicious dishes that you will then get to enjoy and savour for lunch.

T03 - Museum Tour

A museum tour in Kuala Lumpur provides a fascinating exploration of the city’s rich history, diverse cultures, and artistic heritage. Together, the museums weave a tapestry of Malaysia’s past and present, offering a cultural and educational adventure for both enthusiasts and tourists alike. The tour will start with the National Museum, followed by the Islamic Art Museum that is the biggest museum of its kind in Southeast Asia. It houses a collection of Islamic art from all over with focus on art emanating from Asia such as India, China and the Southeast Asian countries. The tour wraps up with the KL City Gallery situated near the Independence Square which features a permanent exhibition on the history of the capital city from its founding to the independence of the country.
